Initial Consultation
The first visit to our kitchen and bath design center is always an exciting one. The visit will take approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour. During this time, you will meet with your MBS designer to define the time frame for the project and discuss the type of project you desire. We will establish the investment focus and dedicate a sincere commitment to the process. Before leaving, the next visit will be scheduled and we will discuss the upcoming agenda. You will be assigned fun and informative homework to be brought back on your next visit.
Detail Discovery
Your next visit is all about discovering the design details. You can expect the duration of this meeting to be one to two hours. We first review the homework assigned from the first meeting. After this takes place, your MBS designer will discuss the space available, along with your wants, needs and desires. The various style options will then be explained. We finish up your appointment by scheduling a time for your next visit and discussing the upcoming agenda.
Plan Layout
The third meeting is where your dreams begin to take shape in the form of a laid out plan. This meeting generally lasts one to two hours. The visit begins with an overall review of your design. Your MBS designer will discuss design solutions with you based on your wants, needs and desires that were discussed in previous meetings. Your MBS designer will go over features, functions and benefits with you that best fit your lifestyle. The next topic of discussion will be to fine-tune your personal design style and establish a general “ball-park” pricing figure you are comfortable with. Your next visit will be scheduled, and the upcoming agenda will be discussed.
Refine the Design
The fourth meeting is all about the refinement of the design. This is the time you and your MBS designer discuss the finer details of your project and important design decisions will be finalized. The visit begins with a review of any changes that may have occurred due to project requirements of design choices. Your MBS designer will then move on to a discussion of the pricing options and narrowing down the “ball-park” figure into a working investment. The final measurements for your project will be taken before scheduling your next visit. Lastly, the upcoming agenda will be discussed. (You will be granted 2 design refinement meetings if necessary. Any additional refinement meetings will be at a fee of $75.00 per hour).
Installation
The most anticipated step of the project is the installation phase. During this time your MBS designer will visit the jobsite and inspect the installation process. They will be available for any questions you may have during this phase. This phase is exciting for both you and the designer. This is truly where dreams come true.
