Jennifer graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design Technology in 2010 from IUPUI (Indiana University, Purdue University of Indianapolis). The class work was both demanding and rewarding. Jennifer enjoyed the courses which had a natural correlation to her career with Modern Builders Supply, including interior design, architectural and construction.
When Jennifer is asked about her career, she responds, “I love my career every day. My favorite aspect of this position is that it can be very challenging. Sometimes there is limited space to design or remodel. I feel it is my duty to create the best design for the homeowner that is functional, as well as beautiful.”
Just as home design is a portrait of the tastes and preferential styles of the homeowner, each professionally designed project reflects the inspirations and talents of its creator.
Each designer brings to the table ideas inspired by his or her experiences and training. Tried and true industry standards help lay the groundwork, while a designer brings in fresh, new ideas and combines them with the homeowners’ needs and budget to create a unique, exciting design.
As part of our Designer Spotlights, we asked Jennifer a few questions about her favorite things and what inspires her.
