With so much kitchen and bathroom remodeling inspiration out there, it’s easy to forget one of our favorite rooms to makeover: the laundry room. Discover design ideas for your laundry room renovation or just enjoy these 6 Laundry Rooms We Love.
Gray Green with Brass Accents
This transitional laundry room with gray green shaker cabinets features so many of our favorite elements, such as the patterned cement tile flooring, white Carrera marble countertop, brass hardware and lighting, and a white penny tile backsplash. This very functional room receives the benefit of lots of natural light from the side window. Thoughtful features include the drying rod for hanging drying clothing and the shelf above the appliances.

Bright and High Contrast
This squeaky clean laundry room is all about a high contrast color scheme. Bright white shiplap walls serve as a backdrop to this farmhouse style space featuring floating shelves and a custom countertop above the washer and dryer units. Our favorite elements have to be the black farmhouse sink and patterned cement tile flooring.

Brown Laundry and Mudroom Combo
If you’re looking to save space and maximize efficiency, consider merging your laundry room and mudroom into a combination space. The earthy color scheme is refreshing in a world of gray. Soft brown cabinetry with a built-in storage bench positioned beneath cubbies provides plenty of room for bags, coats, and a place to put on your shoes. The stacked washer and dryer set contribute to this room’s functional and space saving layout.

Baby Blue with a Marble Backsplash
It’s not that common to see a U-shaped layout in a laundry room (who has the space?!) but that’s why we love this unique and spacious baby blue laundry room with a striking marble subway tile backsplash. Switch out the appliances and this space could almost pass for a small kitchen. Neutral touches like brown woven baskets, brass hardware, and white countertops prove no detail was overlooked in this room.

Farmhouse Laundry Room with Shiplap
This laundry room looks like something straight out of Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Fixer Upper makeovers! Wall to wall shiplap adds visual interest to an otherwise completely neutral space. Upper and lower cabinets, plus plenty of countertop space leave this homeowner lots of room for storing away laundry supplies and folding towels. Gray and white checkerboard flooring adds a pop of color and dimension.

Black and White with Edison Light Bulbs
If you’re looking to add a little touch of drama to your home without going overboard, consider utilizing a smaller space like the laundry room. These dark charcoal cabinets are the perfect choice to go with yet another set of cement tile (are we the only ones seeing a pattern here?) Artfully hung Edison light bulbs give this space a bit of an industrial look.
